Assisted Colon Preparation Service
Endoscape plans to spin off a vertically integrated company (see Company page for more information), which will be the first and only company addressing the screening population¡¯s needs for a gentler alternative to present colon preparation method by providing Assisted Colon Preparation (ACP) products and services for colonoscopy patients.
Based on an exclusive limited license of a core intellectual property of Endoscape, the new company designs and manufactures a colon lavage system and offers a novel colon lavage service to the screening population at the colonoscopy procedure sites or neighborhood service locations.
In a colon lavage procedure, the colon is directly cleaned from inside under visual inspection with fluid infused through a tube inserted all the way to the cecum. The colon lavage is performed by a trained technician and customers are required to take only a mild at-home preparation. Initially, the colon lavage system product will be used exclusively by the spin-off company in performing the ACP service. Features of the ACP service are:
Only alternative to conventional oral colon preparation
Offered to consumers scheduled for colonoscopy, screening and diagnostic/therapeutic
10 to 20 minute long on-site service
Target consumer price: $100 ~ $250 depending on service location
No or mild sedation required
